Excuse the Tree House glass, he really likes those! I liked Juicy Bits well enough, tasty and bright.
Derek's Taste - This is straight up tropical juice that would probably be awesome with eggs in the morning. There's low carbonation so it has a creamy mouth feel. It had just a little back end bitterness but otherwise it is a tropical hop juice. They really nailed the New England IPA. Wow! The nose continues to get better and better as it warms up too!
Derek then proceeded to go on for a bit about breakfast beers. Being that this is a man who rarely eats breakfast, and that it was about 5:30pm, I announced that I'll be making omelets for dinner.
His excitement could not be contained and he took out a can of Citra Bits to have with his omelet!

Again with the confusing beer glass. Derek said this Colorado beer needs a Colorado glass, even if it's not from the right brewery!
Well, this was a smooth and rich and creamy beer that smelled and tasted mostly of oranges. To me it tastes like a creamsicle without the heavy sweetness. So I guess an orange beercicle. Paired with my amazingly sloppy, cheesy omelets, it was heavenly.
Derek's Taste - Having it with an omelet and toast right now, geez, makes this a perfect breakfast juice. The flavor isn't as full as Juicy Bits but the mouth feel is even creamier. Excellent beer!
